We had four adults and 6 hungry children to feed each day before and after skiing. Having Philippe reliably arrive each morning before dawn to get us off to a delicious start to the day was brilliant. And each afternoon arriving home to freshly baked treats was always something to look forward to. But the dinners that Philippe prepared eclipsed everything else (as well as most restaurants in Chamonix). Each and every one of our six junior diners all had different likes and dislikes, for which Philippe always had a gastronomical answer.
Philippe prepared our Christmas day lunch along with matching wines and champagne. It was one of the best festive meals we have experienced.
We also appreciate the little things like using the local mushrooms that he’d picked during the previous summer and his use of local produce (which always came with a story about who and where it was made).
We will definitely use Philippe again when staying in Chamonix.
